From prototype to production, our engineers work with your engineers to create exactly the product you desire for your application. We import your solid model files to our SolidWorks software, which will then be used directly through our CNC equipment. We will determine product manufacturability so that you recieve the most cost effective part to your specifications. Using our Metamation software, we can have your products to the manufacturing floor almost immediately. The use of this software reduces set up time on our press brakes, getting you the parts you need faster.

The Ometek Process

Obtaining usable model files allows our engineering to quickly and accurately get your product to the production floor.

Our SolidWorks 2010 software can accept and convert many other CAD/Solid Model formats, for example….PRO E, Solid Edge, STEP, ACIS SAT and IGES. Files converted from other CAD formats should be STEP solid for best results.

For drawings our software can support .dxf, .dwg., .plt and most PRO E versions. PDF’s can be used in programming if there are no other formats available.

PDF’s along with solid model files are preferred in the quotation process.
