Ometek, Incorporated, is a full service source for the fabrication, machining, welding and finishing of precision parts and assemblies, and has been in operation since 1977. In addition, Ometek Inc. can provide value-added assembly of electronic or electromechanical components, as well as provide logistical support activities. Ometek, Inc. continues to grow and gain sophistication in production and finishing of enclosures, chassis, brackets, front panels, bezels and other component level assemblies for a growing group of OEM firms. We have experience working with materials ranging from steel, aluminum and copper to phenolics and other plastics.
Ometek’s capabilities range from large to small jobs. Equipment includes laser and waterjet cutting, CNC punching, forming, milling and turning machines, all with the latest computer controls. Materials inventory includes steel, HR & CR, Stainless steel, aluminum, copper, galvaneal/galvanized, aluminized, and plastics.
A major advantage of Ometek’s processing and fabrication capabilities is that all are done in-house at our Columbus, Ohio plant. We have a wide range of processing capacity to allow us to cut time and costs, while maintaining control over standards.

The Quality Management System defined in this manual was originally implemented on October 23, 1998 and has been revised to satisfy the requirements of ISO9001:2008. Prior to implementation, records of qualification of all employees’ competencies as observed by their immediate supervisor were generated. Similarly, all suppliers were approved and qualified based on existing records and past performance as observed by the Procurement and Materials Manager.
